My experience at this library has always been 100% positive! The only reason I have given it a rating of 4 stars is that I believe a merger of the Mendham. Borough and Mendham Township Libraries would be a most positive step in providing more books and services to the members in each section of town
The town leaders should take a look at the beautiful libraries in Bernardsville, and Basking Ridge...only a few miles from Mendham. Perhaps that's where Mendham residents actually go.
The building was dedicated in 1932, and I imagine was adequate for the tiny population that must have lived in Mendham, at that time. The librarians are quite helpful, but the selection of material is obviously limited by the very small building. I'm a bit surprised, as Mendham is one of the top towns in Morris county...or anywhere in the country for that matter.
